Ambassadors

Children in Year 5 and 6 have the opportunity to work towards their Science Ambassador Award. In order to do this they need to show a passion for science and enthusiasm for sharing this passion with the wider community.

Here are our current Science Ambassadors:

Just before half term, the Science Ambassadors met with Mrs Fowler and other Year 5 and 6 who would like to earn their Ambassador Badge. It was a great meeting, with 6 new people joining us: Bow, Riley, Isaac, Isla, Emily and Holly. Everyone had loads of ideas for the next series of Pop-Up Clubs, including Magic Science, Hotwires, Volcano Explosion, Palaeontology for Early Years and a lunchtime quiz. Bow is going to be our roving reporter and write up the events. Riley and Dexter were keen to run an assembly for younger children that teaches them more about diversity in science. We will be meeting again next week to confirm dates and invite children to the clubs.
